Ingebrigtsen Brothers Sprint Into the Music World
Olympic gold medalist Jakob Ingebrigtsen has traded his running spikes for a microphone, forming a pop band with his brothers Henrik and Filip. The trio, known collectively as The IngebritZ, has surprised fans with the release of their upbeat debut single, “Ingen gjør det bedre” (Nobody does it better).
The catchy track is an unexpected departure for the renowned middle-distance runners, but the brothers insist it’s all in good fun. Filip Ingebrigtsen told NRK that they hope their song will become a stadium anthem and a party favorite.
Surprisingly, the usually reserved Jakob is seen letting loose in the music video, dancing on the picturesque mountaintops of St. Moritz. It’s a far cry from the intense focus he’s known for on the track.
As the Paris 2024 Olympics approach, the Ingebrigtsen brothers are proving they’re not just athletic sensations but also have a knack for entertaining.
