Only the top three athletes from each heat advance directly to the semi-finals, so Pahal will compete in the repechage round scheduled for Tuesday.

The repechage round offers a second chance for athletes to advance to the semi-finals, with the winner of each heat and the two fastest athletes across all heats earning a spot. Pahal, who has a personal best of 50.92 seconds set at the Indian Championships in June 2023, will be aiming to secure one of these coveted spots in the semi-finals.
