India’s Table Tennis Squad Ready for Paris 2024 Challenge

India’s table tennis team is set to compete at the Paris 2024 Olympics, with a challenging draw ahead.

Women’s Singles:

  • Manika Batra, seeded 18th, will face Great Britain’s Anna Hursey in the first round.
  • Sreeja Akula, seeded 16th, will play Sweden’s Christina Kallberg.

Men’s Team:

  • India will face a tough opening match against four-time champions China.

Women’s Team:

  • India will play Romania in the round of 16, with a potential match against Germany in the second round.

Men’s Singles:

  • Veteran Sharath Kamal will face Slovenia’s Deni Kozul in the first round.
  • Harmeet Desai will start in the preliminary round.

The table tennis competitions will take place from July 27 to August 10 at the South Paris Arena.
