The Paris Olympics roar to life, and India is ready to make a mark! While the dazzling opening ceremony has set the stage, Day 1 promises action-packed competition with Indian athletes vying for medals as early as the first day.
Shooting for Gold: All eyes will be on the shooting range as India seeks an early podium finish. Two mixed teams will be in action in the 10m air rifle event, hoping to replicate the success of Mirabai Chanu who secured a medal on the opening day of the Tokyo Games.
Beyond the Bullseye: The excitement doesn’t stop there! Badminton stars Lakshya Sen, Satwiksairaj Rankireddy-Chirag Shetty, and the women’s doubles pair of Ashwini Ponnappa and Tanisha Crasto will begin their group stage campaigns. India’s hockey team will also take center stage, facing New Zealand in their first group stage match.
