Xiaomi Smarter Living event for 2024 has been announced in India. The company has confirmed that the event will take place on April 23, which means it will be held next week. Just like every year, Xiaomi is expected to unveil a few smart devices in the country. The details of the upcoming products are yet to be revealed, but Xiaomi has dropped a teaser image that gives us a rough idea of what to expect.

The official website of Xiaomi hints that four products will be announced at its Smarter Living event, the details of which will be revealed in the coming days before the launch. We are likely to see the launch of new wireless earphones in white colour, something that is visible in the teaser.

A new Xiaomi tablet as well as a robot vacuum cleaner is also on the way, both of which are visible in the teaser. The fourth product is not clear, but we expect it to be an air purifier because the image includes smoke.

The names or models of these devices are currently unknown. But, we do know that the Redmi Pad Pro was recently launched in China and it might be coming to India. It packs a 12.1-inch IPS LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 16:10 aspect ratio and a peak brightness of 600nits. It is powered by a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC, and a 10,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. It is on sale with a starting price of CNY 1,499 (around Rs 17,300) for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage configuration. There is a possibility that the company could decide to launch any other tablet. Xiaomi could also launch Redmi Buds 5 Pro in India at its Smarter Living event. This product is already available in China. Its standard version recently made it to India, so there are chances that the company might be considering announcing the Pro version of the Redmi Buds 5.

The Redmi Buds 5 Pro has a 10mm piezoelectric ceramic tweeter, an 11mm titanium-plated dynamic subwoofer, an impressive 52dB noise cancellation capability and a 4kHz ultrawide noise reduction frequency band. The company claims that its Buds has support for fast charging and that its 5 minutes of charging will offer 2 hours of playback time to users. The earphones are said to deliver 10 hours of playtime on a single charge which can extend to 38 hours with case.
